Joyce C. (Carter) Pearce

Joyce C. Pearce, age 80, passed away on March 12, 2024 at Appling Healthcare.

Mrs. Pearce was born in Baxley on August 29, 1943 to the late George Carter and the late Lucille Holcomb Carter. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and was known for her quick wit and charming personality.

Survivors include her children, Rina Pearce (Michael) Beecher, Tina Pearce (Carl) Hendricks, and Jeff (Mary) Pearce.  Seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Williamson officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Dylan Pearce, Scottie Tanner, Jason Padgett, Jonathan Graham, Brody Tanner, and Conner Padgett.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Pavilion for the dedicated and loving care provided for Mrs. Pearce. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
