Bernice Sellers McLain

Bernice Sellers McLain, age 85, of Baxley passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the Pavilion.

Mrs. McLain was born April 28, 1938 to George Ernest Sellers and Edna Cain Sellers. She was a retired housekeeper with Appling Healthcare and a member of Altamaha Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dewitt Sellers.

Survivors include two brothers, Alvin Sellers and Wilbur Sellers both of Baxley and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Bryant Bishop officiating. Interment will follow in Oak View Baptist Church Cemetery.

The visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. 

Active pallbearers will be Dwain Sellers, Daren Sellers, Michael Christian, Ashton Hulett, Burnette Reeves, and Brandon Sellers.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Altamaha Baptist Church.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
